Hmmm, looks like the link about Sergio’s World Beers opening a Louisville branch got pulled.

It sure did; not sure why. I found a link to the details of the story at the LHB Forum. The new site is apparently 1605 Story Avenue, so it’s a great snag for Butchertown, too. Here’s a clip from the Sergio’s newsletter that kinda makes it sound like the Shelbyville location may close (not sure):

“We’re closing at midnight tonight, June 30th, 2009. We will be on tour searching for more great beers. We will be reopening July 8th, 2009 at 5:00 PM. Please remember to join us for dinner at our Shelbyville Location while we remember our great moments of the past three years. Thanks for all your support. It’s been fun learning about the business, beer, and food with you. As you are aware, we are in the process of moving to a beer emporium in Louisville.

“We do not have an ETA to opening our Louisville Location yet, sorry.”

Here’s the new link or you can just click up above on the headline.
