As the Cardinals continue with their football season (it’s a good thing we don’t have to cover sports), here’s our latest round of photos from the expansion of Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.  Be sure to check out the specifics of the project and some renderings from our last installment covering that other giant sports construction project in town.  Check here for a behind the scenes look at the stadium construction.

    Thumb up 0

With this upgrade the Cardinals are not only winning the facilities race in the Big East but making themselves very attractive as the major conferences realign. Since the SEC already has a presence in the KY media market, maybe the Big 12 will come calling when they lose some members to both the Big 10/11 and the SEC in the future.
Thanks for the update and links for this project. As a former resident of Louisville (1992-1995) and now a resident of Louisiana I like to keep up with some Louisville projects. Now if they could build that Ohio River bridge before the next century!!!
