The long-awaited Sunergos Coffee on Woodlawn Avenue in the Beechmont neighborhood finally opened on July 7th according to the Beechmont Blog.  You can check out all the details and a construction tour I wrote last year.  Should be a welcome addition to Beechmont’s main drag.

It's been more years than I care to remember, but I use to walk past this building each day going to and from elementary school. In those days it was a five and dime store. It's absolutely wonderful to see a new business moving into an area that I still have fond memories of. I wish them the best of luck!

Went there this morning. Great cup of coffee, service, and price. Happy there is a coffee shop on my way to work in the south end now.

I hope others take note and begin to explore the business opportunities that exist around in the area. I've always loved the vibe of the intersection there at Woodlawn and 3rd. Does anyone know if they kept the Potatoe Man sign? I used to beg my Dad to stop there on the way to my Grandma's house because I was so fascinated by that sign.

I read they had the Potato Man sign, and one from a previous business, and were going to hang them inside.
