Bicycling for Louisville is stepping it up this year with creative new events that involve riding a bike! They’ve already pulled off the Bats & Bikes event combining baseball and pedal power, but now they’ve gone green with a bike-powered Urban Garden Tour to take place Saturday, September 24!
The first annual event will start and end at Sixth and Jefferson streets and will cover Downtown, Portland, and West End neighborhoods. Be there between noon and 1:00pm for the free ride and attend the Moving Planet rally afterwards at 4:00pm. Questions can be directed to Mary Beth Brown at aunt.meeb at gmail.com.

Branden founded Broken Sidewalk in 2008 while practicing architecture in Louisville. He continued the site for seven years while living in New York City, returning to Louisville in 2016. Branden is a graduate of the College of Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis, and has covered architecture, design, and urbanism for The Architect's Newspaper, Designers & Books, Inhabitat, and the American Institute of Architects.
