This Friday, we’re marking the official relaunch of Broken Sidewalk with a reader get-together at the City Collaborative’s amazing ReSurfaced pop-up plaza and beer garden on West Main Street! (And don’t miss our interview with City Collaborative’s Pat Smith on what makes ReSurfaced tick.)

Our urbanism happy hour series, City Suds, ahem, resurfaces on Friday, October 17 at 4:30p.m. Stop by whenever you can to mingle with fellow readers to talk urbanism in Louisville over a specially-crafted Kentucky-style beer.

We’ve partnered with our friends at New2Lou and there will be a performance by Louisville band Small Time Napoleon at 8:00 p.m. DJ Jason Clark will be spinning starting at 6:00p.m. Broken Sidewalk founder and editor Branden Klayko will also be wandering around the ReSurfaced site. RSVP for City Suds for a chance to win tshirts and a limited edition ReSurfaced print. Food trucks and the Heine Brothers’ Airstream trailer will also be on hand.

The event is free, but please RSVP for the event over here and share it with your friends on Facebook. We’ve love to see you there Friday!
