Where is that picture? There is a one-way street in the background and the housing stock has to be Old Louisville or thereabouts. I’m trying to place where in Old Louisville is a line of trees on an undeveloped lot (or lots) of which there are very few. Also that large white building on the left appears to be the back of a church or something.
Is that building in the 900 block of 1st?
That’s Garland Avenue between 5th & 6th Streets in SoBro near Ben Washer Park. The picture is about a week old, so today the street should be white with flowers. There’s a community garden on the left side of the photo (behind chained link and barbed wire, I guess veggie theft is an issue). An old Greek Orthodox Church is nearby but I believe the white building on the left is some sort of warehouse. Here’s the street on Google maps.
