In other non-Louisville architecture news, the TVCC building in China designed by Rem Koolhaas’ OMA (Museum Plaza architects REX split from OMA shortly after the tower was announced) caught fire and looks to be a total loss. The “L” shaped building housed a Mandarin Oriental hotel and public space. The neighboring CCTV building is reportedly unharmed. Read and see more here and here.
