Color me completely not surprised at the Purdue research. My street is having a serious debate about whether to raise the money to have speed bumps installed. We are one of the few north/south streets that run parallel to Newburg and Bardstown Roads and people speed like mad through here. We have tried and tried and tried to get more traffic patrols and traffic stops on our street without much luck. We’re not sure what to do other than speed bumps.
