In the last couple months, two new businesses on the same block opened up with little media coverage. I honestly don’t have anything new to offer, but wanted to throw these out. Red’s, pictured above, is a classic sidewalk diner on the corner of Muhammad Ali Boulevard and Armory Place.
It used to be a different BBQ place I believe before. Below is Sierra’s House of Blues on Fifth Street near Muhammad Ali Boulevard. It takes the place of the defunct Axis nightclub.
Anyone know the story behind these places?

Branden founded Broken Sidewalk in 2008 while practicing architecture in Louisville. He continued the site for seven years while living in New York City, returning to Louisville in 2016.
