The Courier-Journal reported today that representatives of the 40 Days of Peace 2009 Program addressed Metro Council tonight about their new campaign to encourage the pulling up of pants. We’re all for public decency, but what was just too good to pass up was how the C-J chose to describe such behavior: “A popular fad, primarily for young urban males, is to wear extremely low-riding trousers.” The entire quote is a comic jewel. Good luck with the peace efforts, though.

Branden founded Broken Sidewalk in 2008 while practicing architecture in Louisville. He continued the site for seven years while living in New York City, returning to Louisville in 2016.
