A new high-end streetwear boutique has opened on Muhammad Ali Boulevard between Second and Third streets that hopes to bring big-city fashion to Downtown Louisville. Established was, well, established by Ronel Brown, Desmond Duncan, and Leon Oldham and opened its doors in early July. A grand opening is planned for October when a full line of clothing brands is in stock for the fall.
Inspired by boutiques in Chicago, Atlanta, and New York, the team built their shop’s hip interior themselves with silver and gold metal pipes, a fireplace, stained plywood floors, and an illuminated shelf in the back. Leon Oldham told Broken Sidewalk that business has exceeded expectations so far, with many brands selling out almost immediately. He said after hearing that Lexington opened a streetwear boutique, it was time to elevate the fashion offerings in Louisville.
Wow, those t-shirts look real avant-garde. Big city fashion is so exotic. In all seriousness, anything that may bring a little more life to downtown would be nice.
Any shopping options downtown are desperatly needed. Can’t wait to ceck this place out. Thanks for the update.
