A wrecking permit (WR992737) has been requested for a house at 3914 Vermont Avenue in Shawnee near the intersection of 40th Street.
The 1,180-square-foot house sits on a 4,820-square-foot lot and is listed as built in 1910. The wooden shotgun house is listed as containing one bedroom and one bathroom. The property had been in foreclosure and had accumulated multiple violations.
Demolition can take place beginning August 12.
