The IdeaFestival will be rolling out the orange carpets next week at the Kentucky International Convention Center as thinkers from all over the world descend on Louisville to stir up some provoking thoughts and dialogues. Many events over the four-day festival are cheap or free, especially if you are a student, and no one has an excuse not to attend something…
Topics range from magic to interplanetary space colonization to architecture and public art to the physics of NASCAR. Everyone can find something that interests them.
There are too many events and speakers to list here, but go on over to the IdeaFestival web site and see for yourself (Register soon, though, as space is filling up). We expect to sit in on a few of the seminars, also. The Bjarke Ingels lecture looks good to us, and you might find us at a couple others, too. Which events do you plan to attend? Have you been to IF in the last year or two? Tell us about your IdeaFest experiences! (Go check out the Geek Squad chauffeuring ladies around in their dalmatian beetles, too.)

I'll be pretty much at everything! I have an All-Access Pass and plan to stay through it all. I also am going to Idea Kentucky at the Ali Center on Wednesday… looking forward to the week's events!
