Artemisia on East Market Street closed last week for “minor renovations.” A tipster wrote in to tell us there’s more than just the redecorating.
Apparently a slight name change is in order. The restaurant formerly known as Artemisia will be soon known as White Oak at Artemisia. A new, updated menu is also planned. We couldn’t get in touch with the restaurant today, but the sign says it reopens tomorrow. The restaurant was dark and quiet this afternoon, so we’ll have to wait and see on this one.

Branden founded Broken Sidewalk in 2008 while practicing architecture in Louisville. He continued the site for seven years while living in New York City, returning to Louisville in 2016.
