The icy devastation that descended on Louisville in the past week was, in the end, actually quite beautiful. Broken trees held in suspended animation and architecture coated in a sort of glazed icing were common sights around the city. We’ve compiled several sets of photos detailing different aspects of the storm. Here’s the first gallery depicting sights in and around downtown during the storm.
