It’s been a slow week at Broken Sidewalk, but I’m headed back to Louisville and plan on digging up some fresh stories. In the meantime, check out this video I made comprised of photos of the Ohio River taken on the Belvedere between 2006 and 2008. As you can see, the river’s mood is constantly on the move. This is the rough draft of a three part series, so stay tuned for more in the future.

Branden founded Broken Sidewalk in 2008 while practicing architecture in Louisville. He continued the site for seven years while living in New York City, returning to Louisville in 2016. Branden is a graduate of the College of Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis, and has covered architecture, design, and urbanism for The Architect's Newspaper, Designers & Books, Inhabitat, and the American Institute of Architects.

Very cool idea, the foggy scenes are beautiful. Was this put together chronologically?
Excellent. The music works very nicely with the images.
Thanks for the kudos on the video. It's not chronological but I tried to group the images to form a single sequential day from sunrise to sunset. Chronological arrangements were too choppy. I'll try to get the other two in the series ready soon.
