TODAY! (Thursday, October 21, 2010) Be sure to make it to this evening’s Car-Free Happy Hour at Vernon Lanes in Butchertown! Tonight’s event starts at 5:30p and marks the one-year anniversary of Louisville’s premier car-free networking event.

Car-Free Happy Hour is about getting to know your fellow Louisvillians interested in alternative transportation, whether its by bike, foot, transit, or skateboard. If you’ve never been to one of these events, tonight’s a great time to check it out! Oh, and I’ve been informed there will be cake.

  1. I know the robot will kill any link I put up, so I’ll just suggest people Google the Tiger II funds that are being given out (not to ORBP!) are going to LA, and Atlanta, and Madison for streetcars and rail, not so much for auto concerns. Think about it.

  2. If you’re comment is being held for spam, you can e.mail me and point it out and I’ll fix it. I removed the Captcha spam blocker because some readers were having trouble with it. Also, please try to stay on topic or start a post in the forum. Thanks!

  3. I realize the connection is a bit tenuous, but I posted about the Tiger grants here because it shows the rest of the country is going more and more car-free. Sorry.
