Move over red penguins. Butchertown has blue elephants! In other fake animal news, the giant pink snails are moving at just such a pace and we hear they will be installed this fall. Also, as far as I know, a certain triceratops is still missing from its riverfront home.

  1. Do you know where the giant pink snails are going to go? Are they going to be near this house or are they going somewhere else? I think once every thing is in place, it will look great.

  2. These blue elephants are atop the entry to the home of local designer, Michael Pollard. The home is along Washington street (where attendees just celebrated the 2011 Butchertown Art Fair) and this area is one of the most up and coming hipster, artsy, young professional residential areas of the city! It was named one of the coolest neighborhoods by AOL recently! Adjacent to Nulu, folks can walk to restaurants and shops, and see the downtown skyline from the streets…
