The newly formed Riverside Riders Bicycle Club will hold their first meeting at the Riverside Visitors Center at the Farnsley-Moreman Landing (7410 Moorman Road) on Saturday, April 16 at 10:00AM.

Here’s some background info from Riverside:

The purpose of the bicycle club is to encourage the use of bicycles, promote bicycle safety and use of the Louisville Loop. The Riverside Riders also exist to promote the care and use of Riverside, the Farnsley-Moremen Landing. Our events will include organized bicycle outings and up-to-date briefings on developments involving the Louisville Loop. Learn new cycling routes, meet other riders and receive information about cycling-related issues. Members include people of all ages and abilities.

The first ride is scheduled for May 14. Individual and family membership dues are $20 which includes a T-shirt and access to Riverside Riders events. Download an event flyer here (Warning: PDF).
