One hundred children in West Louisville are the city’s newest cyclists thanks to an effort by the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church at 28th Street just south of Broadway in the Parkland neighborhood. According to WDRB, the church recently gave 100 bikes to children to raise community spirits. Pastor Bishop Michael Priester told the television station that the church hopes to hold a larger bike giveaway next year.
